Blyss Bites Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once:
The client has received and accepted a quotation.
A 50% deposit of the total booking value has been paid.
Blyss Bites has confirmed availability for the event date.
No booking is secured until the deposit has been received.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
The deposit forms part of the total booking cost and will be deducted from the final balance.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than four (4) weeks before the event date. Clients are welcome to pay the balance earlier if preferred.
Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking by Blyss Bites. In such circumstances, the deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
If the client cancels more than four (4) weeks before the event date, the deposit will be refunded in full.
If the client cancels within four (4) weeks of the event date, the deposit is non-refundable.
If Blyss Bites is required to cancel due to circumstances within its control, all monies paid by the client will be refunded in full.
Changes to Bookings
Any requested changes to guest numbers, menu selections, event location or event timings should be communicated as soon as possible.
Whilst Blyss Bites will make every effort to accommodate changes, amendments cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional charges.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than four (4) weeks before the event date. Reductions in guest numbers after this point may not result in a reduction of the quoted price.
Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Clients are responsible for informing Blyss Bites of any dietary requirements, intolerances or allergies before the event.
Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements, Blyss Bites cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens due to the nature of food preparation and handling.
Guests consume food provided by Blyss Bites at their own discretion.
Travel & Location
Travel within 25 miles of Newquay is included within the quoted price.
Events located outside of this area may be subject to an additional travel charge. Any applicable travel costs will be clearly outlined within the quotation before booking.
The client is responsible for providing accurate venue details at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply if the event location is changed after a quotation has been issued.
Event Access & Setup
The client must ensure reasonable access to the venue for setup and collection of equipment.
Any parking charges, venue access fees or restrictions that impact the event may be passed on to the client where applicable.
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing suitable shelter and a safe serving area in the event of adverse weather conditions. Blyss Bites reserves the right to refuse setup where conditions may pose a risk to food safety, equipment or staff.
Equipment & Property
Any equipment, styling items or display materials provided by Blyss Bites remain the property of Blyss Bites at all times.
The client may be charged for any loss, theft or damage beyond reasonable wear and tear.
Photography
Blyss Bites reserves the right to photograph completed setups and use these images for marketing, social media and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.
Limitation of Liability
Blyss Bites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the provision of its services.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under UK law.
Force Majeure
Blyss Bites shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, illness or other unforeseen events.
Acceptance
Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
